Just Blessings

Elder Andonopoulos is one of those 18 year old missionaries who came out two years ago.  He is barely 20 now and I snapped this photo of him at the airport going home to his family. As our district leader for his last transfer, he taught us much. His enthusiasm and deep spirituality, his hard work and determination was an example to all eleven of us in his district.  We will miss him and know great things will come from this young man in the future of the Church in Austria, Greece or wherever he goes.

A sign on the way out of the airport that I thought said it all about our wonderful Elder Andonopoulos.

Also on the way home we passed some weeds that blocked our view of something we have been waiting for with great anticipation-- THEY ARE BACK!!!

The beautiful flamingos fly in every year at this time to the shallow pools of Larnaca. Maybe we can get a better close up photo later when they have to find food at the edge of Salt Lake--the same name as in Utah.

Couldn't pass up this cute man with the sweet sow.

 Why me?

It is always a pleasure to be with Annalizel and her blue eyed puppy.

Exchanges are fun with Elder Nicholls coming to teach Josie with Elder Matthews last Tuesday.

It is still warm enough to teach Maria and Marivic in the park in Agia Napa.

 Three great elders!

We are starting a Temple Preparation Class twice a week with Ryan and Annalizel.

Christmas is almost here!

What greater place could we ever serve a mission than where Paul and Barnabus first taught the gentiles?

We count our mission to Cyprus as one of the greatest blessings of our life.

We found this cutie on the Turkish side of Cyprus, so I guess he will be our Turkish Cat of the week!
